A week of nothing... So here's a shed-load of screenshots

I'll blame it on the shitty weather and work... I pretty-much left the Sim alone all week, apart from a small session this afternoon trialling a program called FaceTrackNoIR.
For those who don't know, there is a product out there called TrackIR - a small infra-red camera that sits on top of your monitor while you clip what looks like 3 toothpicks with silver flags onto the peak of a baseball cap. You fire up FSX or your game of choice and this clever little bugger moves your view-point in the game around by tracking your head movements - left, right, up, down, fore and aft.
To be honest, it takes a little while to get used to but after that, it adds some real depth to flying. Now being a tight arse (TrackIR will set you back $200ish) I looked around and found FaceTrackNoIR - same deal but without the specialised hardware (all you need is to download the free program, and have a webcam) so I dug out a cheap old webcam and got it all up and running in about 5min.
Since I haven't got any new screenshots, I'll throw some old ones up... I'm not all about gliding y'know...

Where the wild things live - GEO static model.

This post is actually about a week late... After much scratching of head, swearing, deserting the PC in frustration and finally having a break-through with the process, I managed to successfully add a static scenery object into FSX.
Small steps, but progress all the same. I'm far from finished on this job, but outside the TGC hangar there is now a well used Polish bird... Being GEO of course.
PZ will follow, once I've nutted out how to get the same .mdl file in two different places wearing two different textures. In the mean time - enjoy.
